The teacher prepares a set of question cards for the class, or each student creates a question card.

The teacher tells students to “Stand up, put a hand up, and pair up.” 

When students have all paired up, Partner A quizzes Partner B and then praises or coaches Partner B’s reponse. The partners then switch roles and repeat the process.

Partners then trade cards and thank each other. Students mix and pair up with a new partner to repeat the activity.
