Each pair needs one set of high-concensus problems and one pencil. Partner A solves the first problem. Partner B watches and listens, checks, coaches if necessary, and praises Partner A. Partners switch roles and repeat until the problem set is complete.

Variation – Pairs Check
After solving two problems, pairs check their answers with the other pair of students in their team.
