Each student needs 10 play dollars. Options to be voted on are each written on separate cards or slips of paper.

Alternative option cards are laid out on team tables. Students put a dollar on each alternative. Students spend remaining dollars any way they want.

Teams count the results to determine the team decision. (Hint: Prior to voting, give students time to make proactive statements, saying why they favor the options they chose.)

Note: To break ties, losing items are set aside and students repeat the voting with the remaining items.
